Held twice a year, and occasionally more if there is an issue to discuss such as a significant planning application, Newby's Parish meetings are a focal point for the best interests of our tranquil and special village. All are invited to attend and contribute - we're really keen that as many of the villagers as possible come and have a say - it's our village afterall!

Items discussed typically include planning, local legislation, events, celebrations, rural affairs, villager wellbeing and local business support. We're also very happy to add to these, you can contact us to suggest an agenda item to be discussed at a forthcoming meeting.
